Saint Patrick was a famous saint born in Roman, At the age of 16 St. Patrick was brought up in Ireland by the kidnappers and their they sold him as a slave. After escaping from the slavery and returning back to Roman, he came back to Ireland and become a priest and there he build many churches, schools etc. He is also famous for depict the snakes out of Ireland. 17th March, is marked as the death anniversary of St. Patrick. So for paying him tribute and homage and for his remembrance on this holy day, this day is celebrated as St. Patrick’s day worldwide and also a national holiday in Ireland.
